How much does it cost to get started & how much can I earn?

You buy a business based on the level of work you want to start your business. Keep in mind that SelectCleaning has a system you can use to build your business. This means you need to decide if you want to start off small and then grow your own business or if you want us to start you at a higher level so you have more certainly of the work you start with.

The work is based around us finding you a group of regular clients who you work with. SelectCleaning does all the initial quoting and wins the first group of clients for you. We will then introduce you to the clients & you will carry on dealing directly with the clients. Clients will pay you directly and normally pay after each clean.

Do I buy my equipment & chemicals from SelectCleaning?

No – SelectCleaning has excellent discounts in place with suppliers and will advise the best products for you to use and purchase.

Can I sell my business?

Yes. A SelectCleaning Franchise can be sold like any other business.

If at any stage you wish to sell your business the Regional Franchisee will assist you in this process. Remember, when you do sell, your business could be worth more if you have followed the system and grown your business.

What area do I work in?

We guarantee to offer you work within 15km of where you live. You can work outside of this area - this is your choice

Yes – Select has a customer relationship management tool all franchisees use to help them manage many aspects of their business. This costs $11 + GST per month

Who does the training and what does it involve?

Training is completed mainly by the SelectCleaning trainer. This is a person who has been trained by SelectCleaning and understands not only the tasks you need to complete but also the importance of the relationship you build with your customers. Remember, this is your business but you need to be taking advantage of the experience we have in dealing with customers. The trainer will also come with you on your first jobs to make sure you understand the processes you have been taught, that you get familiar with how to set up your jobs and to help you build your relationships with your customers.Training material includes an extensive manual and a number of practical videos designed to add to the hands on training you will receive.

Do I need to have any insurance?

SelectCleaning requires that you must have at least $20m Public Liability Insurance. This cover is to protect you in case you have any liability in the event of a mistake happening while completing your work. SelectCleaning has a special discounted scheme that all Franchisees can join if they wish. The cost is $450 + GST per year. You are not required by SelectCleaning to have any other insurance but we do suggest that you consider insurance for your vehicle and equipment.You should also consider Income Insurance to cover you if you cannot work at some stage.
